Hollywood cinema has seen thousands of actors portray both fictional and real-life characters. But as in all art forms there are individuals who rise above and beyond the level of competency. They begin to inspire future generations of actors and can have such an impact that they change the acting art form. Below is a list of my top 50 XY actors of all-time.

Ranking Criteria

1. Number of major acting wins and nominations (i.e., Academy Awards, Golden Globes, and BAFTA’s).
2. Memorable roles and films (i.e., XY actors who have performed in a variety of different character archetypes and/ or film genres).
3. Overall impact on the film industry and acting techniques (i.e., more weight given during an actors prime, must be a minimum of one decade).
4. List is solely based on achievements of each actor, personal beliefs, controversies and scandals have been overlooked.
