How jarring is it when the first part ends? Minimal, Grace has finally shared the tragedy that her and Pilgrim faced to Tom. The scene is quiet emotional. Will Tom be able to use this new knowledge to make Pilgrim’s rehabilitation successful?
Which part is better? Although far shorter than part one, part two shows the final weeks of Pilgrim’s rehabilitation. The audience is also presented with the growing relationship of Annie (Grace’s mother) and Tom. Annie is torn between maintaining her relationship with her current husband Robert or to pursue a relationship with Tom.
