Part 2 Time:  51 Minutes (Roadshow: 57 Minutes)

Where does the first part end? Lionel Pack and Basil Palmer take part in a Hungarian wedding. Two gentleman stand and listen to the conversation from a distance.

Final line of dialogue on the first part: “Why’d hit me. All I said was Szent László” Lionel Pack (Buddy Hackett) speaks with Basil Palmer (George Sanders).

First line of dialogue on the second part: “That’s the House of Parliament” states Anne (Cecília Esztergályos) as she, Michael (Denis Gilmore), Milly (Lorraine Power), and Harold travel down the Danube.

How jarring is it when the first part ends? Minimal, Lionel and Basil have the golden head. Basil is trying to not draw attention and reminds Lionel. But this does seem to draw attention from two men in hats. Will Lionel and Basil be caught?

Which part is better? The film has a very simple plot, an artifact (the golden head) is stolen, the children are blamed. The children are not believed by the police and they attempt to (on their own) catch the thieves. Part two is better due to the final chase scene, which shows many landmarks throughout Budapest.
