First line of dialogue on the second part: “Excuse Me” Mitch McDeere speaks to another gentlemen as he leaves the elevator.

How jarring is it when the first part ends? Jarring, Mitch has no been sworn in and has taken the lawyers oath. However he is stuck between to opposing forces. Mitch has to make a decision to either stay with the firm (which is practicing unlawfully) or provide the FBI with confidential information about clients (breaking his lawyer oath. What will Mitch do?

Which part is better? Part two is better as we are able to see the resourcefulness of Mitch and his ability to to use the law to his advantage.
