Sean Penn (1960- )

Arguably one of the greatest actors throughout the 1990’s and 2000’s, Sean Penn brings forth an epitome of human emotion in the characters he portrays. From a man on death row to an American revolutionary figure (Salveta, 2022), Penn has demonstrated that his chameleon form of method acting provides authentic emotions to tragic and traumatic events that is faced by a select few. In his career, Penn has won two Best Leading Actor Oscars, making him one of six actors to hold this prestigious achievement. Although Penn has taken a step back from acting due to humanitarian endeavours, there is no denying that his achievements place him among the acting elite.
