*** Although this break is satire, it is nevertheless an official intermission.

Part 1 Time:  81 Minutes

Part 2 Time:   10 Minutes

Where does the first part end? King Arthur (Graham Chapman) and Bedevere (Terry Jones) cross the Bridge of Death.

Final line of dialogue on the first part: “You have to know these things when you’re a king, you know” King Arthur responds to Bedevere’s question about why he has such knowledge about swallows.

First line of dialogue on the second part: “Lancelot!” King Arthur yells looking for Sir Lancelot.

How jarring is it when the first part ends? Jarring, King Arthur and Bedevere attempt to cross the unstable Bridge of Death. They are half way across when the intermission happens. Will they cross safely?

Which part is better? With part two being only 10 minutes total, the majority of the film takes place during the first half. As a result, part one is by far superior.
