Which part is better? In the film we are introduced to Jim an English merchant seamen who looks to rise through the navel ranks. In part one, we see Jim reach his lowest points as he struggles with finding purpose and meaning. In part two, Jim’s actions and honour begin to be recognized as he is presented with the titled of tuan “Lord.” Part two his better as we are able to see Jim’s character rise from the lowest point of his life and the conflicts he has to endure as a result.
