Where does the first part end? Ian Malcolm confronts Lewis Dodgson in the BioSyn sanctuary main control room.
Final line of dialogue on the first part: Ian Malcolm, responds “Dodgson” and leaves. Lewis Dodgson looks at a screen showing the multitude of issues that have arisen at the BioSyn sanctuary.
First line of dialogue on the second part: “Oh God,” Owen Grady whispers as he and Kayla hide from a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
How jarring is it when the first part ends? Jarring, chaos has erupted within the BioSyn sanctuary as systems begin to shut down. Will the main protagonists be able to escape the sanctuary unharmed? Will Owen find and rescue Beta in time?
Which part is better? The film has numerous action scenes with great visual effects. Part one introduces both Owen and Claire’s conflict as well as Alan and Ellie’s. Both conflicts are significantly different, but lead the characters to the same setting for the climax. Part two is mostly non-stop action with all characters attempting to escape the BioSyn sanctuary. Although part two offers a conclusion to the conflicts and Jurassic World trilogy, part one is better as it not only brings forth a balance between the action and dialogue sequences but also includes the raptor motorcycle case scene, a highlight within the film.
