****This is the second most recent instalment of Steven King’s novel entitled “It.” Thus it is recommended the viewers watch the first film before viewing “Chapter Two.” As it will give context to each characters fears, experiences, and story lines. The chapter one film does not meet the 156 minute threshold, nor have the two films been combined. Thus, only chapter two is included in this review.

Where does the first part end? The adult losers stand outside of the Neibolt house (Pennywise’s ((Bill Skarsgard)) Lair).

Final line of dialogue on the first part: “Let’s Kill this Fu**ing Clown” states Richie Tozier (Bill Hader) to the adult loser group.

First line of dialogue on the second part: The adult loser group walks into the Neibolt house. Richie Taylor states “I love what he’s done with the place.”

How jarring is it when the first part ends? Jarring, at this point in the film each member of the losers group has gathered their artifact. They are ready to preform the ritual, will each member of the group overcome their fears and finally stop the entity of “Pennywise” for the rest of time?

Which part is better? Both parts have significant highlights. Part one has the adult members of the loser group returning to the town of Derry, 27 years after the events of the first film. Each member is required to find a childhood artifact that will aid them in destroying the entity of “Pennywise.” Part two is paramount as it focuses on the final confrontation between the Losers group and Pennywise.
