Where does the first part end? After travelling far and wide Voldemort (Ralaph Fiennes) finds the location of the Elder Wand.
Final line of dialogue on the first part: No dialogue, Voldemort stares at the corpse of Dumbledore, then grabs the elder wand and shoots a spell into the air.
First line of dialogue on the second part: No dialogue, the official start to part two revisits Voldemort finding the elder wand. The following scene sees Severus Snape (Alan Rickman) looking out the window at Hogwarts
How jarring is it when the first part ends? Very jarring, probably the perfect spot to break in the film. Voldemort has found the elder wand enabling him to perform more powerful spells. Harry (Daniel Racliffe), Hermonie (Emma Watson), and Ron (Rupert Grint) look to regroup following their escape from the Malfoy manor. They grieve for the lost of Dobby (Toby Jones) and also plan for their break-in into Gringotts Wizarding bank where the next horcrux is located.
Which part is better? Part one focuses on Harry, Ron, and Hermonie tracking down horcuxes using the clues and tools left by the late Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon). Their friendship is tested, has they are frequently pursed by Death Eaters and evil forces. Part two centers primarily on the events at the Battle of Hogwarts. Part two is better due to the non-stop action, as well as the final confrontations between Harry and Voldemort.
