Where does the first part end? Brett Ridgeman (Mel Gibson) and Anthony Lurasetti (Vince Vaughn) follow Henry, Biscuit and Vogelmann mask associates following the bank gold heist.

Final line of dialogue on the first part: “That van, the cutthroats inside will be vapour before any law enforcement agency can respond, we’re it” Brett speaks to Anthony while in pursuit of Henry, Biscuit and the Vogelmann mask associates.

First line of dialogue on the second part: “You said you weren’t going to kill anyone unless it was self defence, you gave us your word.” Biscuit states to Grey Gloves while in the van driving toward the country side.

How jarring is it when the first part ends? Somewhat, Brett and Anthony are the only law enforcement members who are currently aware of the robbery. They are currently on suspension and do not inform their law enforcement agency. Will Brett and Anthony retrieve the stolen gold and save the hostage?

Which part is better? Overall, the film can be quite slow, especially in part one which introduces the story-lines and motives of various characters involved in the events surrounding the bank heist. Part two has much more action, revealing the encounter between Brett, Anthony, Henry, Biscuit, and the Vogelmann mask associates. Praise is given to part two of this film.
