Where does the first part end? Listening to yodeling at a local beer garden.
Final line of dialogue on the first part: Unable to translate as woman yodels in German and no subtitles are presented.
First line of dialogue on the second part: No dialogue, act two open with an above view of the Paris train station with a train moving along the track.
How jarring is it when the first part ends? None, the yodeling is an interesting experience, but is not quite as exciting as the the prior skiing sequence.
Which part is better? Part one is significantly better as we get a glimpse of both honeymoon vacations (One in United States, the other in Europe). Part one has the exhilarating ‘you are there’ segments with the bobsled and skiing sequences. Part two is mostly a let down being based primarily in Paris, France with limited ‘you are there’ segments. However, seeing Paris, France must have been exciting to many viewers at the time since people did not travel this far in the 1950’s.
