Part 2 Time:  58 Minutes

Where does the first part end? While in her laboratory, Shuri (Letita Wright) looks down at Namor’s (Tenoch’s Huerta) bracelet.

Final line of dialogue on the first part: No dialogue- Shuri is deep in thought. Officially the last line of dialogue is present in the scene prior during Ramonda’s burial, where Shuri responds to M’Baku (Winston Duke) stating, “My heart was buried with her.”

First line of dialogue on the second part: “Oh, man! Yeah your olive oil’s about to go bad.” Valentina (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) confronts Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) about his ongoing communication with the Wakandans.

How jarring is it when the first part ends? Minimal, following the battle between the Wakandan’s and the Talokan’s (where Wananda is ultimately flooded and Queen Ramonda is killed). Shuri, examines Namor’s bracelet in an attempt to find his weakness. Will Shuri find Namor’s weakness or can she resurrect the power of the Black Panther?

Which part is better? At times the film can feel dragged out, but has many action scenes throughout. Part two is given a slight edge, as Shuri harnesses the power of the Black Panther and goes head-to-head with Namor and his tribe.
