Where does the first part end? Star (Sasha Lane) and Jake (Shia LeBeouf) return to the motel at night, the magazine sales crew parties out front of the motel

How jarring is it when the first part ends? Minimal, in the first part of the film we are introduced to Star, who joins a magazine sales crew. The members of the crew are all young adults, who are outcasts, but find a purpose through each other, partying and travelling. Part two, continues to show the crew travelling throughout midwestern America.

Which part is better? The start of the film is intriguing, as we follow the group and learn about what keeps them moving forward. Part two, continues to document the crew travelling throughout midwestern America. Part one is given the edge, as we are introduced to this unusual lifestyle and the oddities it brings.
