Although Al Pacino has come to be known late in his career for performances of little substance (Abrams, 2011), there is no denying that for almost three decades (1972-1999), Pacino is still regarded as one of the best actors to work in both stage, feature films, and television having won major awards in each discipline. Using a method style of acting, he not only pretends to be his characters, but he also finds himself within each one of them. He is very versatile in his acting approach having played both heroes and villains (i.e., cop or a gangster) convincingly, which comes off as making acting look easy. Hands down, Al Pacino has brought to life quotable characters and scenes that will be enshrined cinematic history.
